Kylie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Kansas State University. Prior to joining YEK, she worked for 10 years at Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, a CPA and advisory services firm (currently known as BKD, LLP) as a staff accountant, recruiting director, Manager and Not-For-Profit Industry Team Leader. Most recently, Kylie worked for three years as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Greater Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau (GWCVB.) She is active in her community, and has served on the Board of Directors for both the historic Orpheum Theatre and the Cedar Lakes Homeowners Association. She is a member of the Kansas and American Society of CPAs, is currently acting Director for the Crescent Lakes Homeowners Association, and serves in various speaking roles for the WSU Barton School of Business. Kylie has also been a United Way Young Leader and has participated in fundraisers for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Susan B. Komen Foundation. She and her family are active members of Reformation Lutheran Church, where Kylie serves as Sunday School teacher and has acted as Middle School Youth Director and Vacation Bible School Teacher. In 2007, Kylie was selected for the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce's 25th anniversary class of Leadership Wichita and the 10th anniversary Wichita Business Journal's 40 Under 40 class. Kylie's husband, Dustan, is a PE and health teacher at Campus High School in Haysville. The Stupkas have three boys: Brigdon, Brock and Brandt. The family enjoys boating, water and snow skiing and attending K-State sporting events. |
